1.1 Account Information

• Apple Sign In: When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier and optionally your email address (if you choose to share it).

1.2 Screen Time Data

• App Usage: We collect screen time usage data for apps and categories you select to track. This data is used solely to monitor your challenge progress.
• Local Processing: Screen time data is processed locally on your device using Apple's Screen Time API (DeviceActivity framework).
• What We Store: We only store aggregated usage totals (total minutes used) associated with your challenges, not detailed app-by-app breakdowns.

1.3 Payment Information

• Stripe Processing: Payment information is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We never store your full credit card details.
• What We Store: We store Stripe payment intent IDs, payment amounts, and payment status to manage your challenge stakes and refunds.

1.4 Challenge Data

• Challenge settings (time limits, stake amounts, selected apps)
• Challenge status and progress
• Start and end dates

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Track your challenge progress and determine success/failure
• Process payments and refunds
• Provide customer support
• Improve our app and services
• Comply with legal obligations

11. Screen Time API Disclosure

Scroll Tax uses Apple's Screen Time API to monitor app usage for the apps and categories you explicitly select. This data:

• Is processed locally on your device
• Is only collected for apps you choose to track
• Is used solely for challenge progress monitoring
• Is not shared with third parties for advertising or analytics
• Can be stopped by canceling your challenge or deleting your account
